The project
Herbighe Retreat is an author's design project that reinterprets the soul of the mountain baita through a modern architectural language. Steel, larch and red Asiago marble — local materials chosen to showcase the beauty of the area — shape every space in the house.
The apartment sits within an important historic building, now undergoing a careful restoration that is returning its façade and internal staircases to their original value, in a contemporary key that respects the place. An oasis of quiet just steps from the center of Asiago.
